A pig normally lives for around 10 years, if he or she is allowed to. But the meat industry doesn’t have this much time. Piglets must grow as much as possible within the shortest amount of time. In 7 months a piglet must be fattened to a 110 kg pig.

For X 15, the pig we are following, the day will also come after 7 months when he will be taken off to slaughter.

We will be with him then as well and we will put the film and photos on the internet.
